My name is Richard O'Rawe and I am the Managing Director of Stellar Leadership.

I specialise in leadership, strategic planning and performance management.

My work is across the sectors, including a range of third sector clients. My professional interest is in unlocking leadership and developing the leadership potential that lies within people.

I have developed third sector leadership development programmes and originally helped design the Community Leadership Programme for the International Fund for Ireland.

I was formerly a regional manager in the public sector, specialising in strategic planning and communications.

I have completed post-graduate management studies at the University of Ulster and at Henley, the Management College in England. I have an MSc in Executive Leadership.

In 1988 I was awarded a post graduate Diploma in Housing Management and in 1991 I completed the PSTC Leadership Challenge, an initiative for rising middle managers in the public sector.  In 1993 I was awarded a post graduate Certificate in Business Strategy.

As part of my work with the International Fund for Ireland I was invited to study community economic development in the United States under the US State Department's Distinguished Visitor Programme.

I have worked on EU-sponsored enterprise and management development assignments in Denmark, Ukraine, Russia and Zambia.

As part of my work in Russia, I helped the Kiev and St Petersburg authorities establish Enterprise Development Agencies in their respective cities.

My volunteering contribution includes Chairing the £40m Connswater Community Greenway project in East Belfast and Chairing Audiences NI which seeks to promote participation and enjoyment of the arts, especially amongst under represented groups.
