Fundraising for Your Future seminar and presentation of ILM certificates for CLP year one.
One of the needs highlighted as part of your CLP evaluation was fundraising.
In response to this as part of the follow up we have planned two fundraising seminars for all year one groups. These seminars will last about an hour and will be followed by the presentation of ILM certificates for those who have completed the assessments.
This is a good opportunity for you to meet up with other CLP groups again and network. You will also gain valuable knowledge of how to fundraise more effectively and so sustain the work of your organisation. We will recognise your achievement by presenting the ILM certificates.
The subject of the seminar delivered by Neil Irwin from NICVA is "Fundraising for Your Future".
This presentation will provide key tips on how to set and achieve a fundraising target. Neil will outline the main steps to taking a strategic approach to fundraising with practical and relevant examples.
He will include the main income sources of funding from grants, fundraising from the general public and income from selling goods and services.
NICVA's GrantTracker website will be highlighted explaining how to get the best use from it and exemplifying some of the hundreds of funding opportunities available to local community organisations.
