Lifford Circle Group

The Lifford Circle Group is a voluntary community group set up in 2009 as a result of participation in an IFI funded 'Experiences of the Troubles' programme by four of the founding members.  Along with a fifth member from Lifford Tidy Towns, the new group aims to channel the knowledge, skills, ideas and networks that have been forged to invigorate a stronger sense of community spirit.

After much thought and brainstorming, followed by a series of meetings, local research and statutory body consultations, the decision was made to investigate the provision of community allotments for the locality.

The theme of growth and benefiting from the fruits of ones labour is deemed to be a key feature of our ethos and a worthy direction for our efforts.
