Who We Are
We are a committee that has been elected to represent the interests of the residents of the Greater Cloughreagh Area. Our current members are as follows:-

Where we represent
Greater Cloughreagh covers the following areas:
 
(1)     Cloughreagh (2) JF Kennedy Park (3) Millvale Park (4) Wilton Grove (5) Derrybeg Cottages (6) Archdale (7) Brooklawns (8) Bramble Wood (9) Moninna Park (10) Station Close (11) Camlinn Close (12) Millvale Road.
 
Our base
 
We lease premises from the Council – Cloughreagh Community Centre, Bessbrook. We are situated outside Newry, near Bessbrook, in the Newry & Mourne area. Although we do not feature on the Noble Indices of Multiple Deprivation, our area displays many of the socioeconomic factors of the populations in the Neighbourhood Renewal areas.
 
Our aim
Our aim is to represent the interests and needs of the population of the Greater Cloughreagh area, and to deliver programmes and activities to meet these needs.
 
Our plans for September – December 2009
Over the coming months we are planning the following:
 
Fundraising so that we can run activities in our community centre
Halloween Disco for Children
Christmas Party for Children
Activities for our Young People
To carry out an in-depth needs assessment with you so that we know what issues are important to you and this will help us to know what programmes to run.
