Grange Residents Association

Grange Residents Association is a rural community group based in the Grange Estate on the outskirts of Ballyclare.
The residents group was established in the year 2000 following a community consultation which highlighted the need for some kind of focal point in the area  for the local community.
The main aim of the group is to provide social, economical and educational programmes, workshops and activities in the local area in an attempt to build capacity and awareness.
The area is among the top 10% of the most deprived areas of Northern Ireland.
We aim to help tackle the social and economic renewal of the area through the provision of a timetable of classes, workshops, advice and health clinics and recreational activities.
As well as this we offer training for the unemployed including essential skills training and OCN accredited courses in the hope of building a stronger, more vibrant and involved community.
