First Step Drop in Centre, based in Lower N. Belfast are a community development and support organisation.
Typical activities include:
- Full time youth centre working with local youth and the Youth Justice Agency delivering educational, cross-community and social programmes.
- Training - sexual health, drug awareness, fitness
- Friendship group for lone pensioners.
- Café (social enterprise)
- Working in partnership with Smile Sure Start, St. Johns Ambulance and Down Syndrome Association to further support our community.
The First Step are very open to new partnerships, initiatives and sharing our experiences.
