Cavan Community Forum

Cavan Community Forum is the voice and networking body for Cavan Community groups.

It represents the community on county wide bodies, and supports local groups to provide local supports to local people.

It involves the community in the social, cultural and economic planning in the county. It shares information, experiences and tackles common problems.

It makes representations on issues that affect communities in Cavan and it supports local consultation.

Drawing on local experience, it develops policy which it promotes through the county wide bodies on which it sits.

For the next three years, Cavan Community Forum is focusing on supporting and building resilient communities that can respond to global pressures such as the recession, climate change, peak oil and depression
