Welcome to year three groups

Sandra Bailie's picture

IFI have selected 44 groups to participate in year three of the Community Leadership Programme. Congratulations to these groups from all over Northern Ireland and the six border counties of the Republic of Ireland, we wish them all the best on this one-year leadership development programme.

The programme commences with the Introductory Roundtable workshops(RTW). The first one is on Thursday 3 February in the Galgorm Hotel in Ballymena, the second one is 10 February in the Manor House Hotel outside Enniskillen and the third on is in the Ramada Hotel in Belfast on 3 March. Each group will attend one RTW and meet up with 12-15 other groups on the programme. We are really looking forward to meeting all of the groups at these events.

The purpose of these RTW is to give you more details about the programme, provide an opportunity for you to network with other community groups, share information and learn from each other. They are interactive events that gives you the chance to ask questions and discuss your learning needs. An agenda for the evening is attached to this blog.  Registration is at 4.45pm and it starts at 5.00pm with introductions and then a buffet dinner and will finish at 9.00pm

Please come with your diaries so that you can set dates for your ten action learning sessions and governance support session. You can claim travel expenses for one car per group(40p per mile) or public transport to this event.

This is a wonderful opporunity for you to learn new skills and meet new people and have fun!
