A Round Table Workshop

The round table workshops will be a series of three gatherings of all of the groups involved in the Community Leadership Programme.

It is a format that will allow us to get to know each other and communicate with all participating groups in a consistent and interactive way.

Just as important, it will give groups an opportunity to network, share knowledge and learn from each other.

Learning Outcomes

The learning outcomes from the Round Table Workshop are that each group and individual participants will:-

• Understand the expectations of the programme from the IFI/NICVA viewpoint
• Be aware of and committed to working on the five fundamentals of good leadership that the programme is founded on
• Know what is expected of them regarding attendance at learning events
• Have met, listened to and engaged with the other groups on the programme
• Produce an Accelerated Learning Pathway that meets their needs
• Start the process of drawing up an Action Learning Project and will know how to draw down the £2,500 (or Euro equivalent) bursary
• Know what is involved in ILM Award in Leadership accreditation
• Know what is involved in Certificate in Management Practice accreditation
• Know what is involved in a Governance Review
• Have an immediate next steps action plan agreed with their Facilitator.
