Managing Resources module

Those of you studying for the Certificate in Management Practice will currently be working on your second assignment. Many students find this module the most demanding of the three. So if you are having any difficulties, remember that studies advice is available from me. I am available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday mornings on tel: 028 9036 8064. If you can't reach me first time, leave a message or ring the mobile number on my voicemail. In the meantime, Stephen has provided more guidance on the format and content of the assignment in the attached file. If you have any problem opening it, just give James a call. Good luck!

Thanks Anita - I know that several students that I have spoken to recently have indeed said that they found this module much tougher. Some have found it harder to relate to their own work as they are not directly responsible for managing (financial) resources.
I would really encourage anyone who is struggling a bit with the assignment to take up Anita's offer of support - several of you have already done so. I think most people just need a bit of help with thinking about how to approach the assignment question. The guidance on how to structure the assignment that Anita has posted is also very helpful.
However, if you are still stuck, then please do give Anita a call - you will not be the only one to do so, so don't be shy! The important thing is not to let your assignment deadline go past before you act as this then goes into the University's records as a failed assignment and you will have to pay a fee to resubmit!! If, for any reason, you think you may not make the deadline, then talk to Anita as soon as possible!
