Sandra Bailie's picture

Now is the last chance to register for the University of Ulster Certificate in Management Practice. This is a great opportunity for you to learn new skills, develop yourself, network with others from various community groups, enhance your career and contribute to your community's development. Don't miss out!

The deadline for you to contact Nuala at NICVA with an email to express your interest in the course is Friday 9 July 2010. Some of you attended the information sessions held by UU and hopefully you found them useful. Even if you attended these please confirm your interest by contacting Nuala with your name and group name; or if you have verbally said you were interested to Arthur or any NICVA staff/facilitator please confirm in writing by email.

More details are in the attached form. Once we approve your expression of interest we will send you more details to explain how to register for the university on line, as well as a provisional timetable.

If you have any questions please contact Nuala at NICVA or Anita MacNabb at UU

Congratulations to all those who have achieved the Certificate in Management Practice.  We hope to be seeing most of you at the graduation ceremony next week.  Remember to meet fully gowned at the front door at 3.10pm for a group photograph.

I would like to encourage a good take-up from Second Year groups to the University's Certificate Programme.  This is a useful first line management qualification and is fully funded by the IFI.  It is directly relevant to the community development work and the project you are undertaking in your groups.

Graduation for the first year of the programme is happening on 30th June at the Waterfront Hall.  Look out for photos on the website.  This could be you next year!
