Need more help in identifying funders specific to your project?
 
We are holding funding advice clinics across the country to advise CLP groups on specific funding application queries, we can help you:
 
  • complete an application form or write to a funder
  • review an application you have made to advise on areas of improvement
  • identify specific funders relevant to your project
James Laverty and I have many years experience of advice in making funding applications successful. Both of us are past and present advisors on grant selection for a range of funders including Big Lottery Fund, Children in Need, Nationwide, Diageo and BT. We have both worked as secretariat for the Northern Ireland Trusts Group for local funders. Our daily work involves researching and discussing directly with funders about their policies and processes. We have seen many successes over the years thanks to our help and support to improve funding applications.
 
The events will be held in four locations and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis and all events will run from 2pm - 9pm in 1 hour slots with no sessions between 5pm - 6pm. The locations with provisional dates:
 
Manor House, Enniskillen: Tuesday 20th September 2011
The Hilton, Antrim: Tuesday 27th September 2011
The Evergaldes Hotel, Derry: Tuesday 4th October 2011 
Ramada Hotel, Belfast: Tuesday 11th October 2011

2. Send us copies of your draft applications or copies of failed applications or a project description prior to your funding advice clinics. We will intensively review this information so you get the most benefit from your time with us. You may wish to discuss options with us on the phone before booking your slot at one of the clinics.
