It hardly seems possible that almost a year has passed since we all met for the first Roundtable Workshops back in February 2011! This year's run of the Community Leadership Programme has been by far the biggest and busiest in NICVA's 3 years of delivering the programme, and an incredible amount of hard work has been put in by the CLP staff, our great team of facilitators and especially by the participants from the year 3 groups!
I'm starting to look forward to meeting everyone again at the final Roundtable Workshop on 24th February in Cavan, to reflect on the year's learning and celebrate our achievements. But with only five weeks of the programme left, there are still a few things that you need to do before then...
- There are just a few weeks left to complete the final events and activities of your Action Learning Project and collect any information you need for evaluation. Once you have done this, you need to complete a Final Report and send this together with a statement of accounts and all the relevant invoices and receipts in order to claim the rest of your project grant. Reports and accounts must be received no later than 2nd April.
- Most groups will have scheduled the mandatory ALS on sustainability planning as one of the last few sessions - some of you have already completed it. Your facilitator will have introduced you to the Next Steps Sustainabilty Plan template. You will need to finalise and agree your plan with your Board or Committee and then forward a copy, signed by the Chairperson, to me before the end of February. We will use this to help evaluate the effectiveness of the CLP and also to identify any further help we might be able to offer your group beyond the CLP.
If you have any questions about any of this, just give me a call on the usual number.
