Connecting Calry Youth Adventure Days held on September 24th 2011
This event involved a cross border trip to Armagh, where we met two groups, React and GcF and participated in our activities with these groups.These groups work closely with youths and both groups brought youths with them on the day. The trip involved a visit to St Patrick's Cathedral, Armagh (Church of Ireland) and to St Patrick's Cathedral, Armagh (Roman Catholic). Our tour guide was very informative and relayed some history about Armagh.We then visited Gosford Park for an orienteering event. This is a magnificent park and home to Gosford Castle. After spending 2hrs there we set of for County Down. All three groups had dinner at the Hill Mills Inn . This allowed the youths from the 3 areas time to talk and all appeared to mingle easily and enjoy each others company. Once again we would like to thank all the youth that participated.

Good to get an update from one of our year 1 groups - thanks Chris!
It's hard for us to know whether groups which have completed the programme still use the website so it would be great to hear from more of you - let us know if there is something you would like to see on the site for those who have 'been there and done that'! And think about 'liking' our Facebook page which makes it even easier to link up with groups from other years.
