The International Fund for Ireland, in conjunction with NICVA, celebrated the end of the third year of the £2.1 million Community Leadership Programme (CLP) on Friday (24 February). The event, which included a final roundtable meeting and presentation of certificates, took place in the Slieve Russell Hotel, Co Cavan.

As part of CLP, all groups have to complete an action learning project to demonstrate learning achieved. Vineyard Compassion wanted to use this opportunity to organise a launch event and to create some marketing materials which could be used to promote the organisation.

Last month Monkstown Community Association carried out Best Practice Visit with the Centre for Health and Wellbeing in Ballymurphy, a participant on the year 2 programme. Anne Judson from the Monkstown group explains the benefits of this exchange.
